Important results from the project

The trip to the conference is to support our ongoing Vinnova project by looking for potential partners from Isreal and international partners for a potential EU project application: CPS-based Resilience for Critical Infrastructure Protection (08 -7589997). The trip also provides the chance to understand R&D culture in Israel for high technology.

Expected long term effects

1) to attend CyberTech conference in Israel Jan.28-30, 2020. 2) to attend the events which Vinnova arranged during the conference, include to visit Gav Yam Tech park and visit Swedish embassy in Israel. 3) look for and meet Israel and international partners during the conference. 4) investigate and understand Israel’s culture, which might help the collaboration with Israel partners.

Approach and implementation

The main activities we have done: 1) Attending the CyberTech Conference helps us to understand the advances in technology development. 2) Visiting Gav Yam Tech Park in Be´er Sheva enables us to understand how the Tech Park ecosystem is built by the joint efforts from the government, industry, and universities. 3) Meeting with 11 Israel cybersecurity companies, and look for potential partners for potential EU applications. 4) visiting Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Haifa to understand Israel´s society and culture, which can help the potential collaboration with Israel partners.
