Important results from the project
Mindler´s aim with the trip was to seek collaboration partners in the UK to pilot a new model of working, which has been transformative for mental health in Sweden. At the DIT MedTech Opportunities event and NHS Expo 2019 we were successful in meeting a number of potential partners to explore collaborations.
Expected long term effects
Mindler connected with the SciTech Innovation Hub and have been introduced to potential collaborators such as clinical research funding institutes, universities, health and investment public sector institutions involved in digitalisation, and AHSNs.
Approach and implementation
The trip was very well-structured by the organised, which enabled Mindler to learn about the UK health landscape (infrastructure, commissioning, opportunities, processes) and share experiences from Sweden about solving some of the problems identified in the NHS Long-Term Plan, relating to mental health.
