Important results from the project
The goal of the project was to spread knowledge about the model and meet potential partners/customers that could lead to collaborations, pilots and commercial sales, which was also incorporated.
Expected long term effects
The model we developed in the previous project, funded by Vinnova and large parts of the Swedish mining industry, has potential to change the way the mining industry (and other nature-based industries) make financial decisions in the long term. Our model incorporates risk and sustainability factors into financial calculations in a new way, making the mining industry more attractive to financiers/investors, customers and employees.
Approach and implementation
For this travel grant, we created a presentation of the model adapted to our 30 minutes of speaking time, booked the trip and all practical details, and attended the conference (spoke and made contacts.
