Important results from the project
The goal of the project was to establish new contacts and to maintain current contacts, and via meetings to start and continue our pilot projects. All goals were met and we now have a clear case with two major players in Canada, as well as a started development project for a new product based on the wishes of these players. We have a dialogue about cooperation in research and education with FORAC where our products can be used for academic use and utilized in research and innovation projects.
Expected long term effects
Long-term effects are expected to be sales of our products Woodflow and Timbertrail in Canada. We also expect to expand our collaboration and dialogue with Canadian companies for developing new features and products. We will also offer our expertise in their digitization journey.
Approach and implementation
The arrangement was carried out according to plan with meetings on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. During Wednesday we participated in the "Roundtable discussion about Canadian forestry". During Thursday we participated in "Sweden-Canada innovation days". No unforeseen events occurred.
