Important results from the project

This project was to develop an attractive platform for Open Innovation, by which larger global companies can get in contact with and tap into Swedish technologies and verified business concepts, leading to accelerated investments and growth in Sweden. The platform which was developed is generic and will strengthen the entire Swedish innovation echo system, regardless industry. However, the pilots in the project had focus on innovative and scalable products and services in digitalization, both in order of process but also in some cases on product level.

Expected long term effects

The goal of this project was to - based on a unique network of research close innovation hubs, startups and SMEs - develop an attractive platform for Open Innovation, by which global corporates can get in contact with and tap into Swedish technologies and verified business concepts, leading to accelerated investments and growth in Sweden. The project created unique synergies between the two of the most important players - RISE and SISP - in the Swedish innovation eco system, as well as a unique opportunity to small and larger companies.

Approach and implementation

This project was arranged in work packages, which in short follows this plan: - Step one - define and specific how the digital platform should function. - Step two - develop a solution. - Step three - implement solution, in parallell with initiating pilots with big and small companies being carried out. - Step four - evaluate and analyze. Spread knowledge - plan for ongoing future.
