|Funding from Vinnova||SEK 1 500 000|
|Project duration||November 2018 - October 2020|
Purpose and goal
The overall aim of the project is to develop a professional education concept that can help strengthen and streamline the crisis management ability of public actors at different levels in Swedish society. The aim is to develop a course package on themes within Crisis Management based on identified needs assessment at a number of public actors, and where Lund Univ has expertise and conducts active research. Being able to offer professionals in-depth education at an advanced level does arguably benefit the crisis management work in Swedish municipalities and authorities.
Expected results and effects
A successful project implementation entails that we succeed in raising the level of competence of professionals and contribute to creating a professionalization within the crisis management area. At the same time, participation in the courses can create a network between the course participants, and also with the University, which can provide further benefits in the future within research and teaching.
