Important results from the project

Five projects within Medtech4Health have strengthened Sweden´s capacity for medical technology innovation through digital tools, method development and collaboration. The results include support for innovation management, evidence generation, strategic procurement, regulatory compliance and user participation. The projects have a broad impact and contribute concretely to increased efficiency in the healthcare innovation system. All set project goals have been met.

Expected long term effects

More efficient process from idea to patient benefit if the tools are used, which means that patients can gain access to new medical technology faster and healthcare can be made more efficient.

Approach and implementation

The project structure worked as planned, except for the time schedule, which was too tight to be able to sign the agreements that were planned. Work on this will continue after the project is completed.
