Important results from the project

The project main objective was to improve the Migration Board´s efforts to strengthen the knowledge about fire protection in accommodation facilities among the group of asylum seekers and at the same time develope a quality action plan on fire protection with focus on risk between the authority and the individual. The project would create theoretical knowledge through research, new IT tools and indicators.

Expected long term effects

The project was by external circumstances forced to terminate prematurely. However it revealed interesting facts in the progress reports on which further processing will be done.

Approach and implementation

According to the schedule should the researchers from Mittuniversitet research how risk was communicated between authority and asylum seekers. This knowledge, as well as indicators for vulnerable groups would then be incorporated into an IT tool - a service demonstrator - which could function as a tool for the officers in their meeting in the homes of the asylumseekers.
