Purpose and goal

The project aims at increasing the internationalization of Swedish technology infrastructures, by establishing an International Support Office for long-term, structured and continuous internationalization work of all relevant Swedish tech infras. Increased internationalization improves the quality of the tech infras´ offer, which strengthens their customers in business and in the public sector. International customers will also be offered to establish activities in Sweden, resulting in an increased influx of knowledge-intensive companies.

Expected effects and result

The project intends to achieve: a) More assignments from foreign customers in Swedish technology infrastructures. b) Increased participation of Swedish technology infrastructures in international projects, e.g. EU projects. c) More establishments of foreign companies in Sweden, as a result of a) and b). d) That Sweden can host new international technology infrastructures, in collaboration with existing stakeholders.

Planned approach and implementation

The implementation of the project is divided into four work packages, plus a work package for communication and project management. Each of the work packages aims to fulfill the project´s different objectives.
