Important results from the project
The goal of the Project is ´Understanding of the formal and informal relationship between central banks and the financial industry and how these and other factors affect central banks´ effectiveness.´
Expected long term effects
´The results will inform the academic debate about the role of central banks, as well as provide an interesting contribution to the literature on regulatory capture.´ Utfall: The grant has enabled us to make substantial progress on compiling a unique database on central bank governance. Progress has been made as was reported in the intermediary report of January 13, 2015 (lägesrapport).
