Important results from the project
The aim of the project, to develop the concept Wattometern and demonstrate a relationship between energy consumption, hot water temperature and flow to measure the individual hot water consumption, has been fulfilled. The goal, to verify the theory for the concept Wattometern by generating and evaluating a large amount of measured data, has been completed.
Expected long term effects
With the resources acquired and the work conducted during the project period: - The concept has been clarified through an informative infographic (can be seen on our website http://www.ibdk.se) - The relationship between energy consumption, hot water temperature and flow can be proven in a certain test environment
Approach and implementation
By design and manufacture of a test environment with an adjustable hot water flow and the programming of an interface for logging and visualizing of data, the analysis of multiple temperature points (and the effective flow of water as a value of reference) has been made possible, which is the basis of the results.
