Purpose and goal
The goal is to have, at the end of the project, a product that is integrated with the hospital´s PACS system and which meets all requirements for a class IIb CE marking of medical devices. The software will be pioneering as the first AI-supported for X-ray examination in clinical use.
Expected results and effects
We expect that we will be able to integrate our software with the hospital´s image system, display images and recommend diagnosis and treatment options for orthopedic X-rays. The system must meet requirements for medical software and streamline the work for both x-ray physicians and orthopedists.
Planned approach and implementation
In 2019 we will continue implementation and start the clinical trial. The work during 2018 has focused on the installation of the server, the implementation of software and the integration of security solutions. In 2019, the work will continue to adapt the platform so that it meets the needs of the radiologists before we start the clinical trial in the autumn of 2019 to show that the product creates an added value that is expected to continue until 2020.
