Professor Laursen has visited Linköping University twice during 2015 and very actively participated in data analysis and the production of two manuscripts where the findings from the study are reported.

Results and expected effects

Laursen´s participation has significantly contributed to its scientific quality. In addition his generous sharing of knowledge has contributed to the development of Swedish projects members´ competences. The study show that high degree of openness with regards to knowledge and geographical domains positively impacts innovation performance, while high openness with respect to the number of project partners has a negative impact. Results also indicate that companies can overcome obstacles associated with bridging these boundaries through knowledge governance.

In addition he has contributed with research activities very actively before, between and after these two visits, while being in Copenhagen.
