Important results from the project

Socio-economic analysis is used when decisions are taken concerning how much money should be spent on railways, how it should be spent and how existing capacity should be used. Today we dont know how to value the cost of delays for freight traffic on rail and this project will remedy that lack of information. The long term result will be a railway network that is more attune to the need of the industry and other users.
