Important results from the project

Innovation Loop, a packaged replicable platform for knowledge production and co-creating innovation, format and structure that can be adapted for both national and international regions, communities and organizations. The Innovation Loop is theme-driven with an annual theme and cykel, action-oriented and citizen-driven with both fixed and flexible venues for innovation and public-private partnerships (PPP). Aims at taking innovative ideas into prototypes to market/society as services, products or processes. Purpose and objective well met.

Expected long term effects

30 innovative ideas from the Idea workshops, 8 of the ideas furthered to, the Do-Tank workshops, that delivered seven prototypes: Move Mate (health/fitness), Gear You Fear (phobia therapy), Real Stories and TellIt (citizen-driven journalism), Happier municipalities and ACI -Store (future inland services) Playtive (family game health). Move Mate, ACI-store and Real Stories advised and supported at the Enterprize workshops went on to Pilots in the VINNOVA Meeting Project for testing commercial potential. Internat Conf Innovation Loop Live, participation in int. conf etc.

Approach and implementation

Theme 2014 - Culture-driven growth. 4 Idea workshops in spring, Citizen-driven Co-creational Journalism (Umeå), Future Health Care (Umeå), Health/Sports region (Skellefteå), Services-Future Inland (Storuman). Do-Tank Workshops-Maker´s Lab at Meeting Point Lycksele , June,3 to 5. Enterprise Workshops June - Sept. The workshops were all action-oriented and co-creational with skills-, background-and age mixed groups. Continuous evaluation/Feedback for process improvement leads to a new process 2015 for the phase prototypes to market/society. Stable functioning process
