Important results from the project
Specifically, the project has had three goals: 1. Based on datadriven innovation strengthen the role of public transport as an alternativ to cars. 2. Stimulate mobility in shared pathways and places in a sustainable way. 3. Identify obstacles that remain to design and offer data driven services related to 1 and 2. These goals have been met through development of 27 concepts, including 17 prototypes contributing to 7 concepts reaching proof-of-concept. Among other deliverables are 3 reports particularly tied to goal 3.
Expected long term effects
Results from this project has been a strongly established collaboration between partners which is of relevance to continue to grow. Expected long term effects of the project includes improved routines for sharing data within larger single partners as well as between partners. Especially the report of dataset analysis from Skånetrafiken exemplifies obstacles and opportunities that may be of relevance for others than Skånetrafiken as well. Four proof-of-concepts are left up and running, of which one is a platform for third party development on open data.
Approach and implementation
A steering board with representation from each partner, an operative board with partners with strongest day-to-day involvement in practical work. Daily work done in four work packages (WP): two responsible for concept developmed with partners in their respective region, one WP for innovation process and user studies, and one WP for project management. The innovation process has been to from idea with problem statement go to concept description with state-of-the-art. Iterativ prototyping and assessment have evolved and validated concepts.
