This years nomination period for the Athena Award was announced in April 2020 with articles in the magazine Dagens Medicin, press releases and information to target groups in healthcare, research institutions, counties and incubators. This year, we received about 20 nominations in the first round of applications, of which seven were selected by the jury to proceed to the next step in the assessment process. Of these seven, a winner was chosen at the jury meeting in September. On October 22, the winner was presented at the conference Life science, which this year was broadcasted.
