Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project´s objective has been twofold 1) Participation in H2020 by partners actively seeking projects in identified calls and that one proposal is coordinated by RISE and 2) Laying the foundation for increased Swedish participation in later calls, either by resubmission or by Swedish actors participating by invitation to a proposal coordinated by another party. During the project period, we have been active partners in 7 H2020 applications, being the project coordinator in 2 of these.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The consortium has been very strongly involved in 7 H2020 applications, with RISE as coordinator in 2 of these, CircleTex (H2020-FNR-14) and EcoSysTex (H2020-SC5-28). Other projects include New Cotton and Herewear (H2020-CE-FNR-14). Through these efforts, valuable contacts have been established with international actors in the textile sector and Sweden´s position and progress in the textile space has been highlighted. The work has contributed to increased visibility for Sweden and Swedish actors´ in the sector.

Approach and implementation

We have used our international contacts through ETP FTC and Euratex and have through these platforms communicated our perspective, focus and goals. This has led to initiation of further international contacts and opportunities to participate in a large number of project proposals in the area. Here we have had the opportunity to involve a large number of Swedish actors and lead, or alternatively, influence the focus of the proposed work. This has turned out well and the contacts that have been established are strong, and further joint work is planned.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
