Important results from the project
Living habits that are considered unfavourable are the biggest single cause of morbidity and death in today´s society. Testbädd Hälsa has the ambition to be an environment where effective, user-friendly health-promoting and disease-preventing solutions emerge. The project goals were to establish Testbädd Hälsa in RVN and carry out at least 25 tests. The project shows a broader result where a discovery is that it is of great value for entrepreneurs to get in touch with experts in healthcare early in the innovation process.
Expected long term effects
The goal was to establish Testbädd Hälsa and do 25 tests. The project´s discovery, that support for entrepreneurs in the early stages of the innovation process is of great value, paved the way for the project to be broadened to also include support for entrepreneurs and participation in Bizmaker´s accelerator. The project has given accelerator support to three entrepreneurs. An entrepreneur with the project "Välmåendekollen" has resulted in a large ongoing test. The project has completed (or is undergoing) 14 tests. In 8 cases, support has been given to entrepreneurs at an early stage.
Approach and implementation
The plan with Testbädd Hälsa was to carry out tests on projects that have links to public health and then inform the citizens about the results. All in aim to promote good public health. When the implementation took place in the middle of the pandemic, which entailed major challenges in getting in touch with healthcare staff, the project was broadened to the extent where the benefit to the contractors was greatest. The project is now well equipped to continue the paved road on Testbädd Hälsa.
