Purpose and goal

The preparation project has given us the knowledge about which the conditions for establishing one or more test beds in the area of health promotion and disease prevention efforts in Region Västernorrland that are needed. The goal, to have a clear picture of whether and if so how one or more test beds need to be formed to enable efficient testing of products and services within the test bed´s focus area, has been achieved.

Expected results and effects

The preparation project has led to an understanding of what the establishment of a test bed entails and requires of the test bed developer, the testers and its collaboration partners. It is crucial with a clear process for collaboration and tests. The importance of clarity and structure related to legal aspects is made visible. Through external and needs analysis, we have understood what scope and offer our intended test bed can have to create value. A project plan for implementation projects exists.

Planned approach and implementation

The focus has mainly been on external analysis, networking and several conversations with relevant actors. This has helped us to map and understand local conditions and needs regarding innovative solutions for disease prevention efforts. Meetings with other test beds have created insight into what is important regarding the development of products / services within the framework of an innovation partnership. Mapping shows that the test bed would support equal health.
