Important results from the project
The project met its initial aims by showing how relational methods grounded in storytelling, presence, and conversation can shape a spatial process developed with people and environments on a specific site. The work resulted in a prototype for placemaking, combining methodological reflection and a spatial and pedagogical infrastructure. In Svappavaara, this included outdoor educational structures and community meeting places, strengthening local activities and social life.

Approach and implementation
The project was carried out in close collaboration with the school and other local actors, through on-site presence and continuous digital meetings. The approach focused on working with as many local actors as possible, which was challenging given the short project timeframe. The construction period was affected by the early, long-lasting winter and the moose hunting season. The schedule was adjusted continuously. Despite this, collaborations worked well and the project developed as intended.
