Important results from the project
N-tigen Insights AB s vision is to develop a market-leading portfolio of N-timer reagents focused on proteins found inside a cell. Our strategic objective is to start where there is a significant unmet need for reagents that label proteins inside the cells without killing them. This has been achieved and N-tigen Insights delivered 12 new products into the market. N-tigen Insights has emerged with a robust product platform and established path to sales, showcasing our N-timer technology for strategic discussions with potential partners, including a role in a Horizon2020 application.
Expected long term effects
This project´s resulting deliverables: 1. IP filed for one class of N-timer and spurred the development of another class of next generation N-timer molecules for the future. 2. Introduction of 12 products for direct sale to research-focused customers. 3. A portfolio of products to attract major reagent distributors for deal-making. N-tigen Insights delivered 12 products to the targeted customer groups and strengthened our value and contribution to our sponsors like Vinnova. The project´s product is now included in several research applications and attracted new collaborators.
Approach and implementation
The project succeeded in completing the 3 objectives. The first objective delivered refinement in production and delivered products for diabetes and stem cell markets. The 2nd objective succeeded in gaining cooperation of key reference customers, filed a patent and requests to Horizon 2020 applications. The third objective based on the above results delivered N-timer molecules for sales to customers. Thus, our market strategy has strengthened our foundation to secure additional reference customers in the target markets and increase value of the company as supported by VINNOVA.
