Important results from the project
The purpose and aim of this project within the Infra 4.0 initiative was to establish experience sharing and collaborative dialogue between Sweden and Singapore regarding the transformation of transport infrastructure through innovation and sustainable practices. Communication channels were established and an initial dialogue conducted, resulting in the specification of key areas for collaboration.
Expected long term effects
Sweden and Singapore share common challenges regarding transport infrastructure, hopefully dialogue and awareness can contribute to increased knowledge and technology exchange.
Approach and implementation
An overview of Singapore’s model of industry transformation in transport infrastructure was conducted. To strengthen the relationship between Trafikverket and the Singaporean counterpart, the Land Transport Authority, a joint workshop was held which identified potential areas for collaboration. The aim of the project, to initiate dialogue between the government departments, has been fulfilled and the stage has been set for greater cooperation and experience sharing between the two countries.
