Purpose and goal

Swedsoft has reached its goals with the project. During the last year we have arranged several seminars and workshops where knowledge has be transferred between different industries and between companies and the academy. We have more occasions for this planned for 2016. We have started to reach out to the EU, however the focus for the last year has been on Sweden and the supply of competence. We have gained new members from different industries and gained an increased support from the academy. To build our member base will however be a continuous work for a long time.

Results and expected effects

Expected result from the project was to assemble the Swedish software industry and for Swedsoft to be a representative for this industry. We can see that others increasingly consider Swedsoft to be this, we get requests from government agencies, companies and other organizations to have opinions and to engage in projects. There is however still a lot of work to be done, especially considering increasing the amount of members. We strongly believe in Swedsoft´s role in the future of the Swedish software industry.

Approach and implementation

To get the message out we have increasingly worked with communications as well as participating in seminars, workshops and events arranged by other organizations. We have also arranged several seminars and workshops, hosted by us as well as by Embedded Conference Scandinavia. Our quest for cooperation with others has resulted in an increased knowledge of Swedsoft and we have gained contact with several interesting organizations, companies and government agencies.
