Call Deepened international collaborations for healthy and resilient societies

Purpose and goal

The aim is to develop and test a Swedish-German collaboration model over six months that accelerates clinical validation and commercialization in precision medicine, DTx and AI-based decision support. The goal is for at least 8 Swedish companies to undergo a marketing and validation process, for 1–2 clinical pilot dialogues to be initiated and for a common onboarding model to be established. The project will also develop a European replication guide and a roadmap for future Horizon proposals.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to result in a tested Swedish-German collaboration model, a joint onboarding manual, market introduction plans for at least eight Swedish companies and 1–2 initiated clinical pilot dialogues. A guide for European dissemination and a roadmap for Horizon Europe will be developed. In the long term, the results will strengthen the companies´ access to clinical evidence and international partners and strengthen Sweden´s competitiveness in health innovation.

Planned approach and implementation

The pre-project is carried out over 6 months in four work packages: strategic management, development of clinical validation infrastructure, market acceleration and European dissemination. Sahlgrenska Science Park leads the project and Swecare is responsible for company mobilization. GOE Future is matched with at least 8 companies with German clinical environments. The work includes maturity assessment, market introduction plans, 2 pilot dialogues, study visits and investor introduction.
