Important results from the project

Sweden Innovation Days aims to strengthen Sweden´s position as an innovation country in a global arena, and create conditions for bilateral innovation collaborations. The overall message was: "We need to innovate how we innovate to reach the global goals". Sweden Innovation Days is divided into two parts; a conference and a matchmaking. Themes were Missions to achieve global goals, Preventative health & wellbeing, Co-create for innovation & Climate Neutral Cities. The matchmaking that involved large companies and startups from 10 countries was themed Global Sustainability Goals.

Expected long term effects

The purpose of Sweden Innovation Days is to inspire and share concrete knowledge about methods and processes for how to accelerate innovation with the goal that these models will be implemented to a greater degree: - Inspire and exchange knowledge in how to work mission-oriented. - Exchange knowledge on how to mobilize the innovation system globally -Methods and processes in how to mobilize together with joint ventures -Successful examples with learning on how to mobilize joint ventures - Solutions from innovative companies on how we can together solve the global sustainability goals.

Approach and implementation

Sweden Innovation Days was successfully implemented by Vinnova, SISP / Ignite, AI Sweden and the Swedish Energy Agency together with a number of different partners. Both the conference and the matchmaking were carried out successfully where most of the objective and purposes were achieved.
