Purpose and goal
Sweden-Brazil Innovation Initiative (SBII) 2025+, aims to strengthen bilateral innovation collaboration between Sweden and Brazil. Through a structured methodology, actors from industry, academia, and the public sector are connected to address societal challenges in Life Science, sustainable cities, sustainable mining, and bioeconomy. The project promotes long-term cooperation and the development of new R&D&I projects.
Expected effects and result
The project strengthens bilateral innovation collaboration by connecting Swedish and Brazilian actors in Life Science, sustainable cities, sustainable mining, and bioeconomy. Through an iterative methodology, it facilitates the development of new R&D&I projects and long-term partnerships. The outcome is a structured model for open innovation and global collaboration.
Planned approach and implementation
The project follows a structured approach where ideas, needs, and challenges are identified and transformed into research and innovation projects. Through workshops and networking events, relevant stakeholders are brought together to drive new collaborations. The model is continuously tested, evaluated, and further developed to ensure long-term impact and a sustainable structure for innovation collaboration.
