Important results from the project

The goal was to organize a conference on sustainable retail with invited people who can make a difference in their organizations. The conference was held in Katarinahuset October 23, 2024. Interesting lectures, panel discussions, workshops and interviews with experts in the industry were held with a large network of representatives from many different organizations and companies. After the event, a handbook has been produced with a summary of the day and useful lessons to take away.

Expected long term effects

The conference was intended to highlight good examples of how to work with sustainable e-commerce and retail. We see the long-term effects that the project is expected to have, among other things, in the broad network that participated during the day. The hope is that participating actors bring shared knowledge back to develop their organizations. The handbook that will be published will serve as a reminder, as well as knowledge dissemination of the event.

Approach and implementation

The conference agenda contained the right activities. A mix of good presentations, panel discussions, workshops and mingling. A broad agenda with a focus on digitalisation, circularity and sustainable retail spaces. The project was carried out as planned, with the exception of the timetable, which was extended for the purpose of producing the handbook. There were no unexpected or unplanned things. The collaboration worked as intended.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
