Important results from the project

The completed planning project within the Sustainable Industry program has covered application work for a Competence Center in Sustainable Production with a focus on transformation and industrialization for the third generation production system - the circular production system. The end result of the planning project is an application submitted to Vinnova´s call for proposals, which closed on March 1, 2023. The name of the center is ProduCE and it includes a large number of partners from academia, institutes and business who want to work for a circular transition within production.

Expected long term effects

The result of the planning project is an application sent in to Vinnovas call, deadline March 1st. This was the goal of the planning project.

Approach and implementation

The project was carried out in four defined WPa with a large number of people from participating organisations. Great importance was placed on workshops, meetings and discussions with these and new partners now participating in the proposed competence center ProduCE. Several research groups from KTH were involved in analysing state-of-the-art and in the concrete writing. Weekly pulse meetings were carried out during the project within a project team with ~ ten participants from the performing organizations. In the last quarter, the development and writing work was intensified.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
