Important results from the project

Process proposal aims to develop a competative proposal to address the Horizon Europe Call´ HORIZON-CL5-2025-02-D2-03 call: Sustainable Processing and Refining of Raw Materials to Produce Battery-Grade Li-Ion Battery Materials (Batt4EU Partnership). A strong proposal titled ´ Sustainable Battery-Grade Metals and PRecursors PrOCESSed and Produced in Europe (PROCESS) has been successfully submitted.

Expected long term effects

A strong proposal has been submitted to the European commission. If the PROCESS proposal is granted and successfully implemented, it will strengthen Europe´s position in critical raw materials, especially, battery mineral and battery active materials and reduce the Europe´s reliance on Asian battery mineral and material supply.
