Purpose and goal

The Process Project aims to ensure strategic autonomy for the EU in the battery raw materials sector, focusing on the development of a new business model within a strengthened battery value chain. More specifically, the project aims to support the development and submission of successful proposal to the HORIZON-CL5-2025-02-D2-03 call: Sustainable Processing and Refining of Raw Materials to Produce Battery-Grade Li-Ion Battery Materials (Batt4EU Partnership).

Expected effects and result

Submission of a strong and competitive proposal addressing the HORIZON-CL5-2025-02-D2-03 call: Sustainable Processing and Refining of Raw Materials to Produce Battery-Grade Li-Ion Battery Materials (Batt4EU Partnership).

Planned approach and implementation

WP 1: Consortium Building and Project Management -Formation of a robust project consortium comprising key academic and industrial partners from across Europe along the value chain. WP 2: Proposal Development – Development of part A and part B of the proposal, involving the writing and review of the Excellence, Impact, and Implementation sections. WP 3: Reviewing and Final Submission – FINOVEUROPE will assist with mentoring, reviewing draft proposal documents, and supporting final submission.
