Important results from the project
The objective was to develope products to households are inspired to implement lean@home. After the launch of the concept in autumn 2013 in Sweden and North America the concept has reached thousands of people through the book,lectures and media. The book has been on the best Selling lists and is one of the most popular non fiction at many libraries. In line with the strategy there is a demand for Products and we have developed Kanban board and an lean@home app. A new homepage to support marketing and sales is delivered.Dialogue with academic institution to measure the impact takes place.
Expected long term effects
Through this innovation project we have been able to offer the households inspired by lean@home a toolbox to implement it. The broader impact of lean@home is on sustainability and equality in a society. The impacts of the individual households are evident and measureable and I get feedback every day from readers on for instance footprint and more balance. Through more sustainable homes we get more sustainable societies. This concept, and thus this Project, can support many to become part of the solution instead of the problem, we will also measure the impact with research.
Approach and implementation
The most important objective with this innovation project was to offer products and services to the many households that want to implement lean@home. The milestones in the project plan have been delivered, but some of them were delayed according to original plan due to a suppliers illness and a tight deadline from my part. The spring 2015 I regained the rights of my book from the editing house and became publisher myself ´Daughter of a King publishing. We have also a patent pending regarding a detail in the Kanban board, we call it Show up an it has a big potential and the patent is expected in feb.
