Important results from the project
Aim and objective for the project was to implement a way of working with sustainability towards the companies with the tool Sustainability Scale -Up. It was carried out through workshops with five incubators within CreARTive Sweden. These also invited 3 companies to a workshop with support from the tool. The tool and the project added great competence to the incubators and the business coaches ability to develop the incubator companies. They received knowledge, insight and tools to be able to support the companies in the work around implementing sustainability in their business models.
Expected long term effects
The desired number of workshops were carried out and in the evaluation the result was consistently positive, both for the incubators and their companies. We see this implementation as an important development of CreARTive´s incubators and their working methods as well as good support for working in a structured manner with sustainability issues out to the companies. We have seen the companies mindset change regarding the importance of integrating sustainability into the business model. The incubators have said that they will continuously use the tool in their coaching.
Approach and implementation
Dalarnas Science Park trained us in Sustainability Strategy Board, how it works and their experiences from the tool. Workshops have been carried out with five incubators within CreARTive Sweden. In addition, each incubator has been given the opportunity to let another 2-3 companies do the workshop. At the workshops with the incubators, they as a group and company as well as their business coaches have had the opportunity to see the importance of doing this at an early stage as it is business critical that the companies own the sustainability issue and make that work part of their DNA.
