Survey of Swedish Production Research

Purpose and goal

The aim was to get a current picture of research and its utilization in Prodution2030´s six focus areas, as a basis for future efforts in Produktion2030 and to be made available for VINNOVA and externally. Research teams at universities and institutes would be mapped. Reporting should be dynamic. It should be possible to update and add information. This has been achieved through the data file with the interface and a web-based version for wide dissemination is planned to be developed by Produktion2030´s program office in spring 2016.

Results and expected effects

Interface and data file in Excel to Prod2030´s steering committee and office as well as VINNOVA: the ability to search based on university / institute, the focus areas, individual research groups and free text, clear presentation of each research group´s activities. Report about the study and PPT presentation. Web-based version possible to update planned to be produced by the Production2030´s program office spring 2016 for wide dissemination. Feedback to the respondents: PDF with their own answers, PPT with big picture and a letter of thanks and info how data will be used in the future.
