Important results from the project
The project has developed prototypes to validate new measuring methods, algorithms as well as new technology for surveillance of power grids. It has also clarified and strengthened the business plan. The project has fulfilled its objectives as well as the goals
Expected long term effects
The project is successful. Methods, technical solutions and algorithms are verified. The business plan shows very inter international business cases. The results of the project acts as a foundation for the tasks that lays ahead when the company intends to go on with a productification of the solution.
Approach and implementation
Telecom and military sensor NWs knowledge were transferred to power grids. New methods, theoretical models, algorithms and realizability were validated by simulations, lab and field experiments. New ways of measurements as well as algorithms within Big Data Analysis along with techniques related to IIoT were applied to ensure support of Smart Grids in urban areas as well as power lines in the rural. Collaboration with net owners strengthened and clarified the business model; a task that also led to that all involved parties further developed knowledge of both technics and business.
