Purpose and goal

Inkubatorn i Borås AB will work towards the creation of new knowledge-intensive companies and contribute to economic growth by offering innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs and new startups tailored business development support for faster market establishment. The activities will also collaborate with relevant organizations with the aim of strengthening the ability to create innovative ideas linked to the textile sector.

Expected effects and result

Contribute to increasing the number of innovative startup companies and ensure that they have the opportunity to establish themselves in the market faster and at lower risk than if they had worked themselves. Contribute to increased knowledge in the area of sustainability. Contribute to increasing the proportion of female entrepreneurs and that the proportion of venture capital to female ownership and management. Overall, the efforts should contribute to sustainable growth in Sweden.

Planned approach and implementation

The incubator in Borås AB will use the long-established incubator process - INK Business. Through the process steps, Sketch, Nail and Scale, we will ensure positive movement of startup companies to their market establishment. During this period, we will use a solid network, experienced business coaches, access to venture capital and a developed community. During the period, we will actively market our services to create optimal attraction.
