Purpose and goal
This project achieved the goal to perform a feasibility study, comprising technical, commercial and financial aspects for SUPERB, an Internet of Things device that makes any musical instrument smart. SUBERB is based on MIND Platform, a groundbreaking operative system for audio applications optimized for embedded systems. This offers both B2B and B2C opportunities. Potential customers are professional and amateur musicians (for B2C), as well as companies dealing with audio applications (for B2B).
Expected results and effects
The main outcome of this project is an elaborated business plan outlining the necessary development work and future go-to-market strategy.
Planned approach and implementation
These are the activities carried out: Technical feasibility [Months 1-3]: technical risk evaluation; analysis of current state of the technological infrastructures; feasibility analysis of scalability of production. Market feasibility [Months 2-4]: assessment of target markets and competitors; market risks assessment; marketing strategy preparation. Financial feasibility [Months 3-5]: identification of capital requirements and financing resources; estimation of bill-of-material and production costs; revenue and cash-flow estimation; financial risks assessment
