Purpose and goal
I was nominated by SSF to participate in the 14th Annual Meeting of Science and Technology in Society forum (STS forum) that was held from Sunday, October 1 to 3, 2017 in Kyoto, Japan, as well as in the Future Leaders Network and the Dialogue between Future Leaders and Nobel Laureates, as well as Networking Plaza that took place 30 September.
Expected results and effects
The meeting gave me the opportunity to participate in high level discussions with leaders from science, industry and politics on the challenges that mankind faces, and to discuss and propose how science and technology can contribute with solutions.
Planned approach and implementation
The STS Forum is a unique arena that promotes dialog between leaders from science, industry and politics and that give all participants (especially young scientists) the chance to contribute to the discussions.
