Important results from the project

The project has successfully established strong relationships with actors in Singapore, which has created a foundation for knowledge sharing and collaboration on the implementation of successful AI use cases, e.g. for SMEs. The two trips to Singapore enabled deeper relationships. Discussions about concrete collaborations are ongoing with AI Singapore and SGInnovate, including Use Case Libraries and AI Governance. Several Swedish actors have received introductions to the Singapore ecosystem.

Expected long term effects

Long term, the project is expected to lead to providing SMEs and the AI ecosystem with increased knowledge and improved conditions for AI projects through the project partners. If SMF can gain access to better Use Case Libraries and ecosystem platforms, it can give them concrete examples and inspiration for implementing AI. A model for AI Governance can provide SMEs with knowledge for implementing AI responsibly. International cooperation and networking open doors to new markets and talent.

Approach and implementation

The idea was that all three parties would travel at the same time, but when one party was unable to go, another trip was planned at the end of the project. This proved successful and provided an opportunity to deepen the relationships established during the first trip. We have stayed well within the project period and the implementation has gone as expected without unforeseen obstacles. Visits to Singapore was the right activity as it led to relationships for individuals and organizations.
