Call Impact Innovation: Implementation project for a reformed public sector

Purpose and goal

The project will develop and anchor a long-term sustainable and pluralistic working method in municipality that strengthens the recipient capacity for collaboration with residents, civil society and business in working with complex societal challenges. The goal is to improve the municipal recipient capacity, strengthen the co-creative working method and begin a journey of change towards a more pluralistic organization where the principle is to work with rather than for.

Expected effects and result

The result will be an organization that is better able to mobilize and act on signals and needs from different societal actors and to manage complexity, diversity and change in an inclusive, co-creative and fair way. The effect will be a shift from a drainpipe logic to a more transparent, inclusive and co-creative work culture. In the long term, the project contributes to strengthened democratic resilience, increased trust and a more robust social contract.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is framed by the municipality´s rural strategy and is divided into three work packages: Mapping and analyzing the starting position in the organization, collecting and developing knowledge from research and experiences that contribute to increased understanding of the desired change. Mobilizing employees through workshops/training to jointly develop a new work culture. Test beds in collaboration with Bygdsam and other actors to test co-creative and inclusive working methods.
