Important results from the project

The aim of the project was to show that energy consumption in water production with Picoterm´s innovation is less than competing technologies. By saving energy, and its simple design show that innovation is commercially viable in water production. The target could not be met on time because of sealing problems in the mechanical design.

Expected long term effects

By objective was not achieved, Picoterm immediately started work to overcome the mechanical problem. It is vital that the mechanical problem is solved to obtain an interest in multinationals company and thereby reach out to the international water market

Approach and implementation

Together with AlfaLval and SP a project plan was put together. The plan was carried out until the mechanical problem appeared. Now the company is working with an alternative plan to deal with the mechanical problem.
