Important results from the project
In the project a National Research & Innovation Agenda in the form of a business plan (brochure) has been developed. Vehicle ICT Arena has been formed and launched publicly on April 11, hosted by Lindholmen Science Park and with 28 Partners. The vision is to secure the leading position in safe and sustainable transport systems using vehicle-IT. Vehicle ICT Arena offers an open environment for innovation and comptence in the vehicle ICT that helps to secure Swedish competitiveness in sustainable and safe mobility.
Expected long term effects
Agenda is the basis for forming Vehicle ICT Arena. The objectives of Vehicle ICT Arena: > New innovations in the automotive IT implementation, from research to industrialization projects. > Should contribute to the provision of skills and attract more engineers into a new automotive industry. > Will contribute to a new supplier structure is established and attract business outside of today´s automotive industry.
Approach and implementation
The project´s planned approach was followed and worked. When developing the agenda has Core and Premium Partners (17) participated as a working group of the month follow-ups / workshops. Associate Partners were informed as a reference continuously.
