Important results from the project
To assist Vinnova in stimulating participation of industrial and public R&I stakeholders operating in Sweden in H2020. This will provide an increased opportunity to supplement the knowledge of where the innovation front stands and what opportunities may exist. Stakeholders participating in EU project are also often given access to Europe´s leading companies and universities, as well as a resource framework that enables over-critical investments and competitive results. Furthermore, a basis for standardization can sometimes be developed which eventually opens up new markets.
Expected long term effects
Swedish R&I-prioritizations regarding orientations, areas and announcements often down to the text level has been pushed and made a number of documents from the EC, including the orientation and work program for H2020 2016-7 and 2018-19-20. This means that active stakeholders in Sweden can be part of consortia that try to be selected. Horizon Europe has carried out a well-synchronized work that has clarified Swedish priorities. Proposed intervention areas have been modified with Swedish text suggestions at the bottom. The draft strategic plan looks good, see appendix.
