Important results from the project
The objective of the project "Initiation of the Green Transition Leap" was to interact with 100 companies, and establish content and structure for a next phase of a national program The Green Transistion Leap, aiming to increase collaboration between actors and help companies take steps towards a green future. An additional ambition was to have the final report include an application to Vinnova. After consultation with Vinnova, the latter has been replaced with an application to the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth due to their given possibility of funding the next stage.
Expected long term effects
Since Jan 2021, the project has developed and establish content for a national program aiming for an increased ability to adapt. A total of 15 reference group meetings have been held, which have involved about 20 organizations, including authorities, the social partners, cities and regions, industry organizations, NGOs and performer organizations. During the project, the needs of about 200 companies have been analyzed and several associated pilots have been implemented, which has contributed to a greater common understanding of the design of the next phase.
Approach and implementation
The project has been set up as an iterative idea development process, where the initial ideas originating from the collaboration program for business climate change and from a thought paper written by the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation and IF Metall, have been refined and developed in steps. The direction for the development of the Green Transition Leap has been mapped out and tuned in dialogue within the reference group based on a joint strategic analysis, and via insights and sub-results from a number of parallel pilots where methods and concepts have been developed and tested.
