Purpose and goal

With 15 years of experience, Blekinge Business Incubator has developed tools, models and processes based on an Lean Startup methodology with inspiration from some of the world´s leading startup environments adapted for our regional innovation system. We intend to be one of Sweden´s best incubators where our processes provide a clear offer and set eligibility requirements on what is expected of the companies. - BBI must be a sustainable world-class incubator! - BBI must incubate and accelerate young companies! - BBI must be a party in developing Swedish incubators and accelerators!

Expected effects and result

We expect startups that are adopted into our processes to develop positively on several different levels. Ex: - That they should develop strong teams with great breadth and unique skills. - They should go from theory to practice e.g. by the incubator bring them to the to meet investors, partners, customers. -Our processes should provide a clear offer and set high eligibility requirements on what is expected for each startup. Blekinge Business Incubator will continue to be a driving and influential player in the innovation system regionally, nationally and internationally.

Planned approach and implementation

Digitization, Agenda 2030 and machine learning will be guiding stars in the continued growth and contribute to the incubator being the best partner for start-up companies with global ambitions. All in all, we are now ready to enter the future at full speed. Blekinge Business Incubator will run the business through our program Startup Program & Scaleup Program in combination with a number of Boost days that are organized in different thematic areas adapted to needs that arise during the companies´ startup process in combination with professional advice and coaching.
