Important results from the project
The project has led to a final proposal "SPIN CHIP" submitted by a large European consortium to the EU´s call for proposals Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU). The Proposal was based on the previously successful proposal in Chips JU Steg 1 and the final proposal will now be evaluated in Stage 2.
Expected long term effects
An approved SPIN CHIP-ansökan will significantly strengthen the spintronics field within the EU and could contribute to academic and industrial research laboratories being able to increase their investments in the field and develop new technologies. För NanOsc part, this could, among other things, result in increased sales of the equipment that we offer these customers.
Approach and implementation
The project has been carried out by all European project partners within the large consortium having a long series of Teams meetings, both within the respective work packages and also with the entire consortium. The work of writing the proposal has then been managed in Sharepoint, coordinated partly from Sweden and partly from France.
