Important results from the project

The project has achieved its goals and delivered according to plan. A complete application to EIT Manufacturing Accelerate has been submitted, with support from European pilot partners. The business plan and financing strategy have been strengthened, and MOUNID has established a foundation for attracting investments. The FTO analysis confirms strong freedom to operate. Customer relationships have deepened in preparation for market introduction.

Expected long term effects

MOUNID has strengthened its position to attract capital and drive commercialization, a foundation which in the long term can generate market growth and global expansion. By industrialising the technology along with strong partnerships, MOUNID aims to make algae-based textile dyes available as an environmentally friendly and circular standard in the textile industry. This promotes both sustainable textile production and the development of healthier textile products.

Approach and implementation

The project was executed on schedule with support from the application agency Strata Innovation & Growth. MOUNID provided data for business analysis, the business plan, and financing requirements, actively participated in the application process, and delivered LOIs as planned. An FTO analysis was completed. The work was conducted with clear division of responsibilities, defined deliverables, and regular follow-up, ensuring a structured and efficient process.
