Important results from the project

The project goals have been achieved. The digital toolbox developed has reached a higher TRL than anticipated. Version 1.0 is now available for project partners to use, and the prospects for a continuation project look promising (application filed, funding decision pending). To develop plan and execute tests is a timely process. To leverage the knowledge gained and to enhance the competence within the industry, we propose the establishment of a knowledge hub for tests conducted at events.

Expected long term effects

Many partners have reported enhanced collaborations with others and gained new, in-depth knowledge that has helped them improve products and offerings related to events. The development of the toolbox has significantly engaged partners, with many also participating in the application for the continuation project. The reference group has widely raised awareness of the toolbox within the industry, generating considerable interest due to its potential to meet stakeholders´ needs.

Approach and implementation

Overall, the setup and planning of the project were executed effectively. However, unforeseen circumstances arose, including changes in partners´ ability to participate and the cancellation of planned tests. Despite these challenges, collaboration among the thirty-three partners has been fruitful. The level of engagement varied among partners, with some contributing more effort and time than anticipated, while others contributed less. The collaboration within the core group has been exemplary.
