Purpose and goal

The aim of the project was to organize Social Innovation Summit on 13-14 November in Malmö with 600-700 participants from all sectors of society, and to offer content at the forefront of the theme "Making it big". The goal of the project has been met. There were over 700 participants who came and the program for the summit is available.

Expected results and effects

Social Innovation Summit was conducted in Malmö on 13-14 November. The Summit offered a meeting place where entrepreneurs, change agents, investors, innovators, politicians and decision makers from all sectors of society gathered to share knowledge, experiences, broaden their network of contacts and contribute to the development of social innovation in Sweden. This year´s theme was Making it big.

Planned approach and implementation

When planning the conference, we were aiming for a balanced representation among attendees and sectors which we also achieved. The theme of the conference was Making it big, which influenced the entire program including our partners’ sessions in a very nice way. In all, the program was of high quality, very much appreciated by the attendees. The Swedish national public TV broadcaster (Kunskapskanalen) decided to return for the 3rd year, this time broadcasting both days (only 1 day before) which was one of our quality targets fulfilled.
