Important results from the project

The objective project was to arrange a digital roundtable discussion (webinar) with selected German (DE) and Swedish (SE) actors, who had previously participated in or were interested in the bilateral announcements from Vinnova and the German counterpart AiF. The project consisted of 4 parts: mapping of actors, needs analysis and matchmaking, implementation of roundtable discussions and follow-up with participants after the webinar. General interest and positive response for future joint German-Swedish collaborations.

Expected long term effects

Of the 14 participating Swedish companies from the call, 7 companies participated in the webinar and wanted to get in touch with new German actors. Business Sweden managed to create interest in 7 and German clusters, respectively, who were interested in meeting selected Swedish companies in individual conversations. After the webinar, the companies and the cluster were given the opportunity to book individual meetings to individually discuss possible new collaborations.

Approach and implementation

1 All 14 SE companies were contacted & offered a dialogue. 8 said yes, of which 7 were interested in participating in the webinar & meet new pot. DE partner. 2 For each SE company, several DE clusters were identified. The companies were given opportunity to select those with greatest points of contact. For each company, a DE cluster agreed to meet the SE company. 3 Webinar was divided into a general part where all parties participated. In connection, the participants were divided into 3 smaller discussion rounds. 4 Follow-up was performed with questionnaire and reach out to all participants.
