Important results from the project

After several meetings with Eurofunding, Smrtax realised that a grant application to Eurostars would delay Smartax´s development work. We felt that we could achieve faster results by instead putting our resources into our own development work. Smartax therefore focused on its own development work instead of proceeding with the grant application to Eurostars. Smartax realized during the application period that the European partners that Eurostars had required were not necessary for the result.

Expected long term effects

The results of the project can lead to a more sustainable construction industry where the interior-wall stands for a significant part of a construction project´s environmental impact.

Approach and implementation

Smartax´s initial focus was entirely on getting a grant application to Eurostars. During the application process and in dialogue with Eurofunding, it became clear that this was a lengthy process. Meantime, the demands from the construction market of reusable building materials is strongly increasing. Smartax considered it is wiser to focus its resources on completing the development work instead of an application to Eurostars.
